A short walk from Rosemary and Seacrest is Alys Beach, which is pronounced “Alice Beach,” and one of the most interesting places I’ve seen in Florida. It’s very new, and you can see homes going up every which way. The first time I walked through, all I could think was that Marie Kondo and Restoration Hardware partnered to create a Grecian version of The Truman Show? (Fun fact: The Truman Show was shot just down the road in the Seaside.) Ha! Like, everything was so perfect that it almost felt like it wasn’t real. Oh, but it’s real. 😆
